Specify an Environmental Test Chamber from the Complete Test Requirement

Select the chamber from the governing method, environmental stress, specimen, operating load and acceptance criteria—not from a catalogue range alone. A complete requirement allows chamber type, workspace, performance, safety interfaces and site utilities to be evaluated together.

Governing Standards and Test Sequence

Start with the applicable IEC, ISO, ASTM, MIL-STD, GB or customer procedure. Record every exposure stage, setpoint, tolerance, dwell, transition, cycle count and pass criterion so the chamber is selected for the actual method rather than a general test name.

Review Test Standards and Methods →

Environmental Stress and Chamber Technology

Define whether the product requires temperature, humidity, thermal shock, altitude, salt fog, UV or xenon weathering, dust, rain or a combined exposure. Different stresses require different conditioning, circulation, measurement and specimen-handling systems.

Compare Environmental Test Systems →

Workspace, Specimen and Airflow

Provide the loaded specimen envelope, quantity, mass, fixtures, shelves, cable routing and required clearance. Usable workspace and airflow around the load matter more than nominal chamber volume and directly affect uniformity and specimen response.

Plan Chamber Size and Loading →

Performance under the Actual Test Load

State whether ramp rate, recovery and tolerances apply to chamber air or the specimen. Product thermal mass, energized heat output, fixtures and door openings can change pull-down, heat-up, recovery and refrigeration capacity.

Evaluate Loaded Chamber Performance →

Monitoring, Safety and Test Interfaces

List powered operation, sensor channels, internal power, cable ports, data recording, observation, pressure or fluid connections and foreseeable hazards. Battery, altitude and other high-risk tests require application-specific containment, alarms and interlocks.

Review Safety and Monitoring Options →

Site Utilities and Acceptance Criteria

Confirm electrical supply, cooling method, water, drainage, exhaust, ambient limits, installation access and service clearance. Define calibration, uniformity, fluctuation, loaded performance, alarms, records and documentation required for factory or site acceptance.

Prepare a Configuration and FAT Review →

Need the Right Chamber for a Defined Test Requirement?

Send the standard, complete exposure profile, specimen dimensions and mass, powered heat output, monitoring points, safety risks, available utilities and required delivery date. DERUI will review chamber type, usable workspace, loaded performance and configuration before quotation.

Environmental test equipment catalog

Find the Chamber Family for Your Actual Test

DERUI's catalog spans controlled climate, rapid thermal transfer, low pressure, weathering, corrosion, ingress protection and application-specific battery systems. The product cards above show individual listings; the routes below help you choose the right equipment family before comparing models. One chamber may cover part of a qualification plan, but no category-wide specification establishes every method, load or safety function.

Test objective Choose a category Keep the methods distinct
Hot, cold, humidity or combined climate Temperature Test Chamber
Environmental Testing Chamber
Define the exact temperature–humidity combinations, loaded profile, heat output and monitoring. A dry-temperature model does not automatically control humidity.
Rapid hot–cold transfer or a large loaded specimen Thermal Shock Test Chamber
Walk-In Test Chamber
Thermal shock depends on transfer and recovery; walk-in selection depends on access, usable workspace, floor load and facility integration. A larger room does not imply rapid shock capability.
Reduced pressure or battery-specific testing Altitude Test Chamber
Battery Test Chamber
Specify absolute pressure and any simultaneous temperature profile. Battery environmental, mechanical, electrical and fire tests need different mechanisms and a project-specific hazard assessment.
Ingress by particles or water Dust Test Chamber
Rain Test Chamber
Choose the exact dust or IP water method, specimen mounting and acceptance criteria. Dust, spray, immersion and high-pressure hot-water exposures are not interchangeable.
Corrosion exposure Salt Spray Test Chamber Define neutral salt spray, CASS or another specified procedure, specimen size, collection conditions and whether a cyclic climate sequence is required.
Light-driven material weathering UV Chamber
Xenon Chamber
Fluorescent UV and filtered xenon light use different spectra and procedures. Match lamp/filter, irradiance, specimen temperature, moisture and the property being measured.
For multi-stress programs, plan the sequence—not just the shopping list. State which exposures are separate and which must occur simultaneously, whether specimens move between systems, and what is measured after each stage. The applicable method and edition, loaded performance and acceptance records determine whether a proposed configuration is suitable.

Turn a Test Plan into a Comparable Equipment Proposal

A useful RFQ connects the procedure, specimen, facility and acceptance evidence. Include these four inputs for each test stage.

Exposure
Standard/edition, setpoints, timing, sequence and tolerance
Specimen
Drawing, loaded dimensions, mass, fixture and operating heat
Evidence
Sensor positions, records, calibration and pass/fail criteria
Facility
Power, water, exhaust, access and required safety provisions
