The ozone aging test chamber is specially designed for testing the durability of materials in an ozone environment. Our test chamber can simulate the ozone influence in the natural environment and provide accurate and reliable data support for product performance, so as to better evaluate the long-term stability and service life of materials. It is an ideal choice for material testing, the automotive industry, aerospace and the optoelectronic industry.
Product application:
It can be used for rubber products such as vulcanized rubber, thermoplastic rubber, cable insulation and sheath, etc. Under static tensile or continuous dynamic tensile deformation, or under intermittent dynamic tensile and static tensile alternating deformation, the samples are exposed in a closed, light-free test chamber containing air with a constant ozone concentration and at a constant temperature. The samples are inspected at the predetermined time. The degree of cracking or other performance changes on the sample surface is used to evaluate the ozone aging resistance of the rubber.
Test method
1、Static tensile test
The standard stipulates that the two ends of the sample are clamped in the fixture, and a certain elongation rate is selected for tensile testing, usually 20%. The fixture is installed on a rotating sample holder, with the sample holder's rotational speed between (20 - 25) mm/s. The test is conducted at a temperature of (40 ± 2) °C, a relative humidity not exceeding 65%, and a specified ozone concentration. After the prescribed time, the cracking condition of the sample is inspected. Generally, the ozone concentration is selected as (50 ± 5) × 10-8.
2、Dynamic tensile test:
The standard stipulates that the sample fixture can automatically extend and retract to stretch and reset the sample. The stretching frequency is 0.5 ± 0.025 Hz. The two ends of the sample are clamped in the fixture, and the sample is cyclically stretched from an elongation of 0 to the maximum elongation. The fixture is installed on a rotating sample rack, and the rotation speed of the sample rack is between (20 - 25) mm/s. The test is conducted at a temperature of (40 ± 2) °C, a relative humidity not exceeding 65%, and a specified ozone concentration. The fixture cyclically stretches and resets while rotating with the sample rack. After the specified time, the cracking condition of the sample is inspected. Generally, the ozone concentration is selected as (50 ± 5) × 10-8.
Box structure:
- The outer shell is all made of A3 steel plate, and the surface of the outer shell is treated with plastic spraying, which makes it more smooth and beautiful.
- The inner liner is made of mirror-finish stainless steel plate.
- The bottom of the machine is equipped with high-quality fixed PU casters.
