Large-Capacity Corrosion Testing

DR-H304-200 1200 L Programmable Salt Spray Chamber

A wide 2000 mm test workspace for continuous or periodic salt-fog exposure of large panels, coated assemblies, fasteners and production batches. The DR-H304-200 supports NSS/AASS and CASS operating conditions when configured and operated according to the applicable test method.

The “200-Type” identifies the 2000 mm internal width—not a 200 L benchtop unit. Its broad test space accommodates long coating panels, multiple racks of components and larger fabricated parts while preserving clearance for fog circulation and collection.

A 2000 × 1000 × 600 mm chamber provides room for production batches and long specimens that do not fit conventional 90- or 160-type cabinets.

NSS, AASS and CASS Conditions

Published temperature and pH settings support neutral, acetic-acid and copper-accelerated acetic-acid salt-spray methods when the required solution and configuration are used.

Cyclic terminology: periodic spray/stop control is not automatically the same as a full cyclic corrosion test (CCT). A sequence such as salt fog, controlled humidity, dry-off and ambient dwell requires dedicated humidity, air-drying and transition hardware. Confirm those modules before claiming compliance with an automotive CCT specification.

Se utiliza principalmente para probar la resistencia a la corrosión de materiales (metales, recubrimientos, componentes electrónicos, etc.) en entornos adversos, y cumple con estándares como ASTM B117 y GB/T 2423.17.

2. ¿Cuáles son las ventajas del modelo "Alternante" de tipo 200 en comparación con las cámaras de niebla salina tradicionales?
El equipo tradicional solo soporta pruebas continuas de niebla salina, mientras que el de tipo 200 soporta pruebas cíclicas programadas (como: niebla salina → calor húmedo → secado → descanso), lo cual se asemeja más a los cambios ambientales reales, acelera el proceso de corrosión y mejora la precisión de la prueba.

5. ¿Se pueden añadir muestras durante la prueba?

Las operaciones solo deben realizarse después de que la prueba haya terminado por completo y se haya liberado la presión en el interior de la cámara.

6. ¿Existen requisitos especiales para la proporción de la solución salina?
Se debe usar una solución de NaCl al 5±1% (que cumple con la norma de agua pura ASTM D1193), con un valor de pH de 6.5 a 7.2. Se recomienda usar cloruro de sodio de grado analítico para evitar que las impurezas interfieran en los resultados.

7. ¿Cómo limpiar los residuos de sal en la caja?
Mantenimiento diario: Después de cada prueba, limpiar con agua limpia la pared interior y la bandeja de muestras.
Limpieza profunda: Remojar la boquilla y la tubería en una solución de ácido acético 5% durante una hora cada mes, luego enjuagar con agua pura.

8、¿Qué problemas pueden ser causados por una mala conexión a tierra del equipo?
Puede provocar interferencias estáticas con las señales del sensor, alarmas falsas e incluso daños en las placas de circuito. Se debe usar un cable de tierra independiente con una resistencia de ≤ 4Ω, y verificar regularmente la resistencia de tierra.
