Use the Correct Configuration for the Claimed IP Rating

IPX7Temporary immersion uses the placement and 30-minute duration defined by IEC 60529. Verify specimen height and reference point rather than applying a simplified “one metre” statement to every enclosure.
IPX8Conditions are agreed between manufacturer and user and must be more severe than IPX7. State the exact depth or pressure, duration, temperature and operating condition.
Pressure simulationA sealed vessel can reproduce hydrostatic pressure beyond the physical water-column height. Pressure-vessel testing must follow the approved operating and safety procedure.

Do not mix the two products: the original marketing copy describes 500–5000 L open lifting tanks, but the Technical Parameters tab describes this DR-H504 pressure vessel. This page now follows the actual DR-H504 technical table.
