Drip, oscillating spray, water jet, immersion and high-pressure hot-water tests use different apparatus. Define the exact rating, specimen mounting, operating state, flow or pressure and drainage conditions before selecting equipment.

Review Water-Jet Control →State whether the specimen is energized or monitored during exposure. Internal power, signal routing, isolation, leakage protection and emergency shutdown must match the laboratory risk assessment.
Configure Powered Ingress Testing →Confirm water quality, tank capacity, heating requirement, recirculation, filtration, floor drainage and splash containment. IPX9K and large-flow systems may require substantial utilities and heat management.
Prepare Installation Utilities →Define post-test inspection, water ingress limits, dielectric or functional checks, calibration records and report format. Equipment acceptance should verify the required flow, pressure, geometry and timing.
