How a Stationary-Specimen Three-Zone Chamber Works
The specimen remains in the 150 L test workspace throughout the cycle. Separate high- and low-temperature conditioning zones prepare hot and cold air in advance. When the programmed test changes from one condition to another, controlled dampers redirect the required air into the test workspace.
This arrangement avoids mechanically transferring the specimen between hot and cold compartments.
